Where were your parents born?

I thought that this might be an interesting twist on my earlier post.....

My dad was born in Guatemala, and my mom was born in Cleveland, Ohio.

Both in Hackensack, NJ just like me.

Tennessee and Oklahoma. Dear lord. They somehow met in Texas, and decided to move to New Mexico, that I may be born somewhere rad.

Of course! Actually my mom is also Guatemalan. Well, half anyway, her dad was American and her mom Guatemalan. She was born in Ohio, but most of her childhood was in Guatemala. My only living grandparent (mom's mom) still lives there, as well as tons of cousins!! Are you the only SG member who lives in Guate?

My Mother was born in Kent, UK. My Father was born in Myanmar (Then Burma.)

My grandmother (his side) was born in London. She got bored of London, and ran away to Paris. While she was there she met my Grandfather (he was Irish, but his parents had been born in Burma/India too. I think their parents were from Ireland), they fell in love and got married. He was on holiday from his job. He was a teak cutter from Burma. So, when his holiday ends the go back to Burma.He introduces his new wife to her new mother-in-law, and goes into the jungle to cut teak. She does not get on with her mother-in-law; they hate each other. So she steals an elephant and rides into the jungle to be with her husband.

My dad was born in Morelia, Mexico and my mother was born in San Diego, California.
