It was only a one shot deal because the movie sucked harder than a trout gasping for air. The movie thought it was going to become a kickass franchise, that's why it decided to call itself "The Adventure Begins..."

PS - He also ran across wet-cement at the end.

The best one-off action film of all time is obviously Action Jackson
