While I am checking mail, posting on the boards and whatnot, I have the old Gamecube fired up with World Cup soccer running. I got it set up to simulate Friday's Poland vs USA game, its 90 minutes of realtime fake-soccer mayhem.
something aint right, coming up to halftime and were at 19-2 for the Poles.
I think I'm going to turn it off now.
The next time I have a stupid idea like this, I'm going to have to use some judgement in wheter or not to execute said stupid idea. Its amazing that I make it through the day unscathed, really.
I dont have enough faith in this result to run out and drop my savings on Pro-Line, but ... there was a match between Australia and American Samoa during the Oceana Qualifying round (this is real life stuff now). The Austrailians won 33-0... so anything is possible.
Granted, in the past week, video games have also predicted that I'd survive a zombie infestation and blow up the Death Star.
Another crappy way to predict the future is to stand on top of a tall building and say, "Future, you'd better tell me which horse to pick in the next race RIGHT NOW, or I'm jumping off this building!"
