saw the movie about 9 hrs ago or so...my math is fucked. i can see that the book ending (assuming the movie followed the book truly) would be wierd.

the movie is great. i enjoy movies with little dialogue and much suspense, so this one was perfect. it's like a cross between sleepy hollow and the sixth sense.

it's different and won't disapoint...worht the 7 bucks

I liked it. Not sure why but I figured it out kinda early. Maybe because it was a M. Night Shyamalan picture I just expected something. <-

Just got back from the 10:00 show. I really liked it, but I had 5 martinis beforehand, so I also really liked the trailers, and the "please turn off your cell phone" announcement. I am a M. Night fan, but the ending gave itself away about 30 minutes before the big reveal anyway...

See this just for Ivy... Wow!

I warned my little brothers away from this picture for weeks but the group of young women they were with wanted to see it so they relented. They called me this morning vowing to never ignore my advice again.

I think I'm going to wait for rental of this one. Or...catch it in a plane or hotel.

Maybe after this last picture of his The Masses will stop buying into M. Night Shqyywaywyqyasyaysan's scams.

Ha. I wrote what I thought the twist ending was down on a piece of paper and left it at work.

I was 100% right.

I thought it was ok. I've seen much worse. Not a big fan of Mister Phoenix's performance.

Some loose ends. Some flat characters. Some very off time line stuff.

Eh... it wasn't bad.

But I do have to say that M. Night Sillylongname's cameo was priceless. I think that was the best crafted part of the movie.

Yup. I pretty much yawned through every other M. Night Shamalamadingdong film, but that was just... cinematic excellence.

Jesus Christ M. Night Shyamalan is a one trick motherfucking pony, granted it was shot and acted beautifully, he simply has the worst endings in movie history. Yes, I liked the Sixth Sence and didn't see it coming, but Unbreakable and Signs just drove me to hate the hype and twist factor. In the Village I could totally see it coming from a mile away and others I know say the same thing. He could be the next fucking Kubrick-- he has the style and techinque down pat, now he just needs help in the script selection or execution process. What a beautiful piece of crap.

I think Ron Howard's daughter would be one reason to see it-- a great up-and-coming actor, and the technical reasons (shots, acting, editing).

i liked it alot. I could figure out the ending...but i didn't really care.
It was shot and acted so beautifully that it didn't matter. It was a nice story and the howard girl and joaquin make me sigh in happy goodness.
