You have got to get somewhere. Where are you going to go, and why? or maybe stay in your own home?
I head for my parents' house. It is out in the country, sits on the top of a hill, and comes with guns.
You are going to take a vehicle with you. What vehicle would you take and for what reason? Or is it a place you could get to on foot?Bear in mind the nearer to home you stay, the more likely it is you'll encounter a zombie friend, and possibly need to cap them right?
If it is just me, I'd use my own car to get out there.
How many seats and space does the vehicle have? And which of your friends/family/people you know would you take with you in those seats?
4 seats, but everyone around here has a vehicle, so they can take care of themselves.
You can take 5 pieces of household equipment with you. What do you take and why?
There is better stuff than I have already out there. But I would take my computer, weapons, and whatever food I have.
Each person can carry a weapon. What weapon would you give them? they have to be attainable, so you can't just say a tank or rocket launcher (unless you've got one kicking about).
I would carry 2 handguns, several large knives, and 2 swords. Out at the house are long-guns.
Would you sit about and wait for it all to pass, or try and get somewhere else?
I'd wait until I knew about my family and food supply. Probably stay put. It has it's own water supply, is easily defensible, and there is plenty of wild and domestic animals around to munch on.
Would you try and contact other people and see if there are other survivors?Perhaps reach another country? If so, which one?
I know where there is a ham radio station around here, so I would check in there once in awhile.
If you could wish that one celebrity wasn't a zombie and could come with you, which one, and why?
Since I doubt too many celebs have great survival skills, I'll pass until one of them can prove their worth to me.
Read The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z. All the information you could possibly want about surviving the zombie apocalypse is contained therein.

Hospital in the city. Has a cafeteria, gift shop and several snack machines so food isnt an issue. Has several areas that are able to be completly sealed off from the rest. An entire wing can act as a panic room. Security rooms will have guns, and CCTV monitors. Self-sustained generators and water supply. TVs in every room. Bedding. And (obviously) nigh-limitless medical supplies on hand for everything from splinters to splints. And since its in the city its far away from any cemetaries ; no fresh bodies. Also most city hospitals have helicopters.

I say we wait it out for a while. But anyone who wants to leave via the front door is more than welcome. Returning is not guarenteed

Sure, hospitals have dedicated phone lines as well. We could call anywhere to see if anyone is alive. Perhaps other hospitals have survivors as well. Also dedicated phonelines + dedicated seperate generators + computers= net access.
wow great response...
Are you kidding me? That is like the worst plan ever. Know why? You know what else hospitals have? Morgues. Know what else they have? Lots of people who are dying or shortly about to die once the doctors are too fucking preoccupied fending off the living dead to prevent them from dying. You know what all that amounts to? Shit tons of zombies waiting to happen! You just locked yourself into potential zombie central.
"No fresh bodies." What kind of hospitals have you been hanging out in? Certainly not ones in a big city!
I can't think of anywhere WORSE to be. I'd rather hang out in a cemetery than a hospital -- Romero has said time and again that the buried dead aren't strong enough to get out of their holes in the ground.

Into Allegany National forest. I know the land and could live indefinatly. Plus zombies would be heading into town for brains.

I would escape on a boat with Ilectra and her hubby and start a sea-civilization.
I would go to my old college campus because it has 4 huge buildings that are connected by raised walk way. it would be easy to blow up the stairs and not destroy the building or anything. drinking water is not a problem due to the lake. I made a still for the purpose of some home brewed moon shine, (another story all together.) that i could use to clean the water. Food would be a problem seeing as how the break down of society would be a gradual process and the stores would all be looted.
If i was to just wake up one day and everything as gone to shit. I would grab my hiking back pack. Which would be packed with a couple pocket type knives, 4 pairs of jeans some long johns, shirts, gun cleaning stuff and all the ammo in the house. My sks strapped to the top of the bag. I would be wearing jeans, combat boots, long sleeve shirt and motor cycle leather jacket on my belt my 1911, and Glock (also in 45). I would jump onto my motor cycle (Kawasaki ninja zx-6r.) I would go to the floating museum which is also a ww2 battleship. the ramps would be easy to make zombie proof. they still use the Galley of the ship for parties so food would not be a problem for a little while and the gulf is right there with plenty of wildlife to shoot or fish for.

Go to my best friend’s place to see him and his older brother, and get prepared for this very scenario, which we’ve basically dreamed of and talked about forever. He lives just down the street so hopefully I survive the short walk to his place.
You are going to take a vehicle with you. What vehicle would you take and for what reason? Or is it a place you could get to on foot?Bear in mind the nearer to home you stay, the more likely it is you'll encounter a zombie friend, and possibly need to cap them right?
We would get in a Jeep TJ for sure: a lot of open room at the back for Jay and I to park ourselves and start shooting. Me with the shotgun for close range encounters, and he with the sniper to take out the others farther away, while his brother Phil does the driving. We would probably make our way to the grocery store first to stock up on food supplies, then take off for somewhere secluded in the country, as zombies can’t drive and we’d need to get away from major centers.
How many seats and space does the vehicle have? And which of your friends/family/people you know would you take with you in those seats?
The TJ is a four-seater. It would accommodate my friend Phil, the driver, myself and Jay, the shooters, and some random hot girl in need of saving whom we’d pick up somewhere. I would jump off the jeep just in time to blow the head off a zombie just about to bite her, then sling her over my shoulder and get back in. She would, of course, be a green-eyed brunette with luscious lips, big boobs, tight jean shorts and a ripped up tanktop...Family/friends/other people would have to secure their own weapons/food/transportation, as we have no plans of driving a school bus loaded full of tourists to make our escape.
You can take 5 pieces of household equipment with you. What do you take and why?
A backpack, a flashlight, a gas can, a map, and food supplies. The first 4 items are pretty self-explanatory, and the food is just in case the grocery store is overrun when we get there.
Each person can carry a weapon. What weapon would you give them? they have to be attainable, so you can't just say a tank or rocket launcher (unless you've got one kicking about).
Phil would have a machine gun, Jay would have a sniper, and I would have a shotgun.
Would you sit about and wait for it all to pass, or try and get somewhere else?
Fuck no we’d constantly be on the move. The transient hypertension you’d get from just sitting around in one place waiting to die would be unbearable, not to mention how boring it would be to just sit there. It would be so much more fun to just drive/run around and shoot everything in sight.
Would you try and contact other people and see if there are other survivors?Perhaps reach another country? If so, which one?
Other survivors would just attract zombies and cause other trouble. Unless they were smart, useful people, like medical staff, scientists, engineers, military personnel, it would be best to be alone. Hot girls are, of course, the exception. Then again, they could be hot AND smart/qualified! As for reaching another country, I live in Canada, so there are tons of places in northern Canada where there is no major urban center, and we’d probably be safe there. So we would just have to drive out of the city and head north.

Scarlett Johansson. I don’t think this one requires any further explanation, does it?
