So I've been pondering the past few days about what I'm going to do when I go to the dentists to get my wisdom teeth pulled on August 6th (I have to get all four pulled).
They are most likely going to ask me to take my tongue bar out, and I'm very scared that it will close up. I've had it for 6 years now, it's like a part of me. I would really hate to lose it.
Does anyone know how long they take to close up? Or something I could do to at least try to make sure it doesn't? I've got an 8 gauge in at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you can take it out, and it won't close up........I take mine out and leave it out overnight sometimes without any problems.. the will make you take it out either way...
its fun afterwards when you drool blood all over yourself cause your mouth it still numb. really, really cool.
you will have to take it out doing the surgery. just as long as you don't have super wolverine healing, you should be able to put it back in afterwards. if not, well, i dunno what to tell you. back to the piercing parlor for you.
