The Norwegian Hotel and Restaurant Workers Union represents a large majority of the hotel workers in the country. They have asked that that all of the pay-per-view porn be removed from the hotel room’s television sets because the female workers are tired of being propositioned and harassed by horny guests.

"Porn must be removed from pay TV because of our members, who regularly work alone, are being harassed," union leader Elin Jjunggren told state radio P4 on Monday.

Though no incidents of assault or rape have been reported, Jjunggren said many of the hotel workers — often immigrants from the Middle East — feared for their safety.

Norwegian law forbids hardcore pornography on video, in theaters and on broadcast television, but it can be shown legally on pay-per-view television.

I used to get "propositioned" when I worked at a donut shop, so I'm not too sure taking the porn out of hotels will solve the problem. Maybe they should just stop making their staff work alone.

Surely there is another solution than banning porn?

How bout a sign in the bedrooms, please do not proposition the staff!?

In my view, horny men proposition women wherever they are. What is stopping them, stepping out and buying some porn across the road, or flirting with waitresses?

Well if its one way to help the workers at the hotels then they should do it. I mean, its not like the people need the porn in their room. Obviously it would make the men horny and if its illegal everywhere else in the country it makes the men feel uninhibited (sp?) and able to do or say whatever the hell they want.

All those holes must have gotten them excited. No more holes in donuts!
