A new keyboard costs $20 at CompUSA or Best Buy. smile

If it is not too electrical (i.e. has outlets on it--you might be able to tape them over for this) it might need a good cleaning as follows (This may sound strange, but I saw it on Tech TV and it works well):

Unplug your keyboard.

Using a firm brush, clean all of your keys well.

Turn on the shower with warm water.

Run your keyboard under the shower, making sure not to get the end of the connector wet. At the same time, use your brush to continue to clean it.

Turn off the shower.

Shake the keyboard dry for several minutes.

Allow to air dry keys down, or use a hair dryer to dry thoroughly.

Allow the keyboard to cool if you used the hair dryer.

Only plug back into the computer when it is completely cool and dry.

This process has worked for me several times already.

Alrighty then... either suck it up and pay to get another one or get offline for a few hours and "work it, work it!" or... just keep complaining

but complaining is so much more fun than actually doing something about it. i mean, if you can't complain, what's the point?

It's not mine, it's my roommates, so I don't really care.
