I have been a fan of Natalie Portman’s since her first major role in Luc Besson’s Léon. Since then she has become one of America’s brightest and critically acclaimed young stars with films such as Beautiful Girls, Anywhere But Here and her most famous role as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequels.

Her latest is Sam in the directorial debut of Scrubs star Zach Braff’s film, Garden State. When Andrew Largeman [Braff] returns to his hometown for his mother’s funeral, he reconnects with old friends, and...

I agree with Missy, Leon is one of my favorite movies and Natalie Portman definitely gave the best young performance I've seen. It seems like some child actors don't do so well at changing to other roles when they grow up, so I'm happy to see that Natalie has done so well in so many different things.

I have always had a huge huge crush on Natalie and I love how you got to do an interview with her. She is sexy, smart and a good actress and it gets me hot. The only other actress out there who can stand on the same stage as Natalie is Kira Knightly.

I've been a fan since Léon and it always creeped me when I'd mention how great that picture is and have guys says "Dude, how hot is Natalie in that?" surreal

Great interview. It’s cool as hell seeing Natalie be honest about her younger/showboatin’ self. Even better seeing her choose films like Garden State as opposed to the How To Lose A Tad Hamilton At Coyote Ugly type flicks.

When Natalie Portman was younger, and starring in the stage production of Diary of Anne Frank in Boston, my roommate was her personal assistant around town for about a month. How many times did he bring her back to meet his friends?

I guess the fact that the Star Wars movies were "kids movies" excuses her "acting" in them. wink
Seriously though, it's always cool to see an interview with someone who's been doing something like acting since they were young, especially someone who's good at it (crappy prequels excluded).

God, I love Natalie Portman. That's all I really need to say about that, right?

But where's the "how about a Professional sequel" question?!

Thanks for managing to get Natalie to do an interview for the site. I've been a fan since Leon as so many others, and I like to hear someone give a smart interview, and not just plug their projects like you see on most talk shows.
