anyone else watch this?

i do watch it, and honestly the only stunts they do that really bother me are the disgusting ones. with the bugs and the leeches and the .. you know..
they have three stunts, two are physically demanding and scary [ although you're always harnessed in for safety so really.. wtf.. ]

but DUDE. this was the worst ever:

they play in teams of two

one person on the team scooped up live scorpions, worms and fuckknows what else [ there were like 5/6 different species of insect in the tank ] with their mouths, spit it into a grinder, you know.. ground it up.. and the slop fell into the other team member's mouth who was laying on the floor next to the table. that teammember then had to spit the stuff out into a bucket. the team that filled up thier bucket with the most insect slop fastest won.

i don't think i could ever handle that. fuck that.

so, do you watch it? smile

they still haven't come up with a better stunt than that one in the first season where they were climbing around on a car w/a hose running over it 80 ft up in the air.

I used to watch it...then it just become Barf Factor.

I remember when the very first episode aired I thought I was the best show ever. The stunts were actually stunts that would scare the crap out of you while being physically demanding.

I don't watch anymore, it's not intresting to me. :/

.. what was the hose doing? it's funny when people talk a bunch of crap and then fail on the dumbest stunts.

oh yeah.. i was watching it a few days ago and this guy who was all peirced up was on the show and right from the get-go the host was talking shit about his peircings...

well you'd think more people who had peircings would be on the show in the first place since it's about pushing limits and i'm sure a lot of people would fail if getting a facial peircing was one of the assignments because theyre so wigged out by it.

so yeah i wanted to punch the host in the face. it was such shit! he told the dude to " get that crap " out of his face. i probably wouldn't wanna wear the kind of jewelry he did on the show but if someone ever said that to me i'd slap them.

theyre always teathered for safety which makes me wonder what the point is sometimes. but i guess they just can't have a show on the air where people could ACTUALLY die.

but then again.. scorpions are poisonous so how did that trick work?

did i mention i would never ever do the first stunt i mentioned? * willies*

so how much money (or how many cigarettes) would it take for you to eat some bugs?

Ugh, I can't watch. I always get angry because I see people fucking up stunts that I think would be really easy (of course, that's just me being a bitch cuz of course they're probably not as easy as my mind makes them out to be.) But then they eat reindeer testicles and spiders and cow's blood and nasty shit like that, I can't even be near the television, it makes me gag. So...props to them I guess, but, then again, I'm not the one eating guts.

P.S. - I've actually eaten a sauteed cricket before. Tasted like chicken. Honest.

OH! I didn't know what the hell you were talking about when you asked about the hose the first time.

I don't think it was really a hose but more like a "rain machine" that was hung about ten feet above the car and the contestant. The player had to start inside the car...climb out of the driver window, climb to the hood of the car and grab a flag that was attatched to it. climb all the way to the trunk of the car and grab a key that was in the lock of the trunk...take that key back to the driver's side, start the car and honk the horn.

Doesn't sound that hard but the car was suspended over the Hoover dam, at an angle so that the trunk of the car was higher up and the hood (maybe a 45-30 degree angle) and while they were doing this the car was being "rained" on so it was slippery as all hell.

oh, they just showed a stunt exactly like that today except there were two cars and they had to jump from one the the other. they often make it " rain " for more of a challenge.
