I'm hoping to get my hands on Choke by Chuck Palahniuk. I unfortunately haven't read anything by him yet and I hear he's amazing. So, fingers and toes crossed I get to the book store and score on finding it!

Oh, and any other books you recommend by him?

Ernest Hemingway's The Garden of Eden. It's a posthumously published novel I've never heard of. Hope is not high on the hope-o-meter, but ya never know, do you, champ.

A breezy mystery called Caveman's Valentine. It's a lot of fun. A modern caveman tries to figure out why a person was murdered on his "door step." He only has one problem. The secret ruler of the earth is constantly persecuting him and sending out invisible Y rays from the Chrysler Building to keep the caveman confused.
