graffitti

i'm sure there are some spray can artists around here.
i ask, what kind of paint do you prefer, krylon or rusto?
what caps do ya use? trains or walls?
i always like rusto and orange balls for bombing.
and krylon for peicers. with NY thins and german fats.
as walls are safer, trains are more fun.and i love them holy roller cars.

I used to paint a lot in the early nineties. Krylon was my favorite paint and I used the caps off of Crystal Clear cans (a acrylic spray coating used for sealing artwork.) I only painted walls, and mostly approved places. I'm not a big supporter of tagging, as it is a act of egotism more so than artistic expression. But I must admit that some tags are quite beautifully rendered. The first place I ever painted was on the wall at 183 in the Bronx. The famous place that most of the Kings started. My piece was shit but it was an honor to just be there. Most of my other pieces we're in San Diego where I'm originally from. I used to bomb with all the guys that started "tribal" clothing. I think all the murals I painted are mostly gone. Although I think I have one left in Japan that still standing.

well, unfortunatley, some of us live where there are no trains. I mean, there are railroad trains, but that's not much fun, so it's all billboards and walls around here. I like the billboards though, they are more challenging

there are freights here, it just takes fucking forever to get to them...i dig the german caps.

thats what i meant, freight are fun, and they travel all across the country for all to see.

you should post, if they're really dope...i like character graff the best

And the last one... a actual mural that me and a friend "Baba" (KSN - Los Angeles) did around 12 years ago in San Diego. I did the Bettie portrait (with spray paint using skinny caps) and he did all the lettering. Sorry it's not in color.
