the vampire chick couldve been turned right after the tan lines. since you stay the way u were when u first died, its very feasible.

Actually that depends on what story you go by. In most circles, it is believed that a vampire will retain the physical appearance they had when embraced (reference Kirstin Dunst's hair in Interview with a Vampire).

Not trying to be an ass...I'm always trying to come up with plausable explanations for continuity errors. Might help you enjoy the movie a tad more?

Alright...back to the real topic.

A v P is one of two movies I'm looking forward to right now, along with Resident Evil: Apocolypse.

everyone at my work is going to see the movie together and we've all voted for who will win... everyone but one person voted predator, im mad excited..... speaking of vs movies, i heard there is going to be another freddy vs jason movie but with another character, i forget who i was told, anyone know anything about that?

Rumored to be ASH, if not I've also heard Michael myers even pinhead from hellraiser.

there's rumors of a freddy vs jason vs ash but it's very unlikely, bruce campbell himself said that it's just that a load of rumors with nothing solid backing them up.

the micheal myers vs pinhead thing was briefly mentioned as a movie in it's own right since both character franchises were owned by the same company, that was basically the whole reason "we own them both can we do it?"
gotta admit psycho guy is hardly a match for one of the lords of hell.

Yes, good theorizing......but read the post above. I've totally blown your much better written theories out of the water by TELLING YOU [A HUGE SPOILER]

Seriously, could you please edit that post and the one before into spoiler format? Not everyone (including me) enjoys finding out the ending of a movie weeks or months before going to see it.

For example: In Citizen Kane, Rosebud is...

where did you find out about these "spacejockeys", I watched the first two movies the other day, and they didn't mention them. I assume its from the books or comic books. I would like to know more about them, can someone point me to some specific sources?

that depends on your vampire mythos. some vampires turn into a perfect or ideal physicality of themselves. I mean if you had a hangnail when you were turned it would suck to have one for enternity. the reference to kirstin dunst in IwaV, actually her hair turned to that way becuase she was sick and had nasty hair, from hanging out with her plauge ridden mother's corspe.

Maybe in the future. smile But there's no spoiling a movie like this:it's a studio movie with one of the biggest grudge matches eve-NATURALLY they're not going to let EITHER side "win" properly, as they're also both bad guys. Obviously, they BOTH must lose and the humans win. If you expected something else, putting "spoiler" won't disappoint you any less.

Or, flip a coin. You don't have a lot of "winner" options to believe in.

In that movie when Kirstin Dunst turned into a vampire she changes. When she was a human she had long ugly hair, but when Lestat changes her her hair becomes curly and beautiful. I'm going to have to agree with the no tan lines.

I guess it all depends on what vampire story you go by.

it's all assumptions based on facts from the movies.
the spacejockey is that big elephant thing they find inside the crashed ship,

-the ship only had one crewman and only one control space in the big room where they found him much like a cargo ship.

-the eggs were inside a stasis field (ridley scott calls it that in the commentary), if they're inside a stasis field it means a alien didn't randomly dropped them there but they're actually cargo. (supported by the fact that they were also neatly packed in compartments)

-in other words the aliens are "owned" by the creature that was piloting the ship and not native to that world.

-unless the spacejockeys keep some really, really dangerous cattle, those aliens weren't meant as pets for spacejockey junior, considering their behaviour and reproductive cycle the aliens are probably meant as weapons. (i actually have a pretty decent theory that they could be used for terraforming but that's a whole different story and not very relevant)

-the material that the jockey ship is made of resembles the material the aliens secrete for their hive nests a lot so that's another clue as to their shared origin.

so there you have it really, nothing from the books, it's all just based on stuff you can clearly see in the movie.

also if you want to learn more about the spacejockeys you're pretty much out of luck, the comics mention them a bit but the comics are rather crappy sources. (i mean there's comics about a cigar smoking gun toting xenomorph used by the military)
the only spacejockey in the movies is that dead navigator in alien, their origins are kept secret on purpose because they're so closely tied in with the aliens (having a ship full of eggs and everything)
they don't even call it a spacejockey in the movie, that's just the name they used for it on the set and it sort of stuck.
best i can tell you is that they're a incredibly acient space faring race that have a shared origin with the aliens, mostly likely extinct by now.
