Well, I know in America if you have a cerimonial sword, you must also have two other magickal tools, indicating they are for religious purposes. I thought it was the same for Europe, but I suppose Iwas wrong. You would think the talisman's and the robes would be enough to prove it was not to brandish his sword about town causing some sort of ruckus... unless it was a druidic ruckus... but thats not the point.
Anyway, that's unfortunate.
I know when people come into the store that I work at wanting to but a sword or Athame or some sort of blade, and they need to bring it on a plane... I'm sure to tell them that they need to be able to prove that it's a magickal tool. I'm not sure if that still applies today... due to the whole 9/11... but I tell them anyway.
