Jeopardy - Ken Jennings - Master of the Universe?

Anyone else been catching Jeopardy lately? Am I the only tard that watches this? I think I'm completely underage to be liking Jeopardy ... but whatever.

This dude has been on the show for 30 days straight and has won over ONE MILLION DOLLARS. And that's just like ... so far. He's still going.

Can you imagine being there that long? Like ... how many different suit jacket/shirt/pants combonations can one person have? What interesting facts can you think about yourself to talk about after 30 days? I'd be fresh out after five ... well ... at least stuff I could say on TV.

Like ... really ... dude is fucking brilliant. I suggest Jeopardy keeps his info on file and replaces Alex Trebek with this dude when Alex retires/dies. At least this way they'll have a host that ACTUALLY knows the answers instead of pretending he does.

I'm a big fan of the show, and I couldn't believe that there wasn't a drop of fanfare when he went over the million mark.

I bet they'll switch back to the three game limit after this.

Jeopardy has never really been about fanfare though. It's always been a pretty simple, reserved show. I love it though but I don't really watch it for the champions or anything. 3 days or 30, I still just watch to feel like a big nerd when I know the right answers.

I'm happy that someone on TV is winning money for how smart they are, it's a change from the rest of the crap out there. I'm sorry if you are stupid, you shouldn't be rewarded for it. That's just my thinking on the subject.

Errr ... it was a five day ... not three. But whatever.

I also dunno how this is bypassing hype. Like ... dude is a fixture on the show now.

I know, but "3 days or 30" sounds better than "5 days or 30" so I said it instead.

Does anyone remember the Far Side comic where God is playing Jeopardy and kicking ass?

There's been a fair bit of hype. He's been on Regis, Letterman, in the Daily News, etc. I mean, it's no Joe Millionaire type publicity barrage, thank god, but that's what's great about Jeopardy: it's about the knowledge, not the bullshit.

The scary part is how he answers everything. He just whips out every answer...er question...whatever. He never hesitates. The looks on the faces of his opponents get better day by day.

But it's so cozy in here.. and soo much delicious kool-aid to drink.
