I'm lost
May 2004

JUL 03, 2004 09:57 PM

I've had to suck it up and grovel for the MIL before. Every good husband should. Of course, I'm divorced now, so what do I know?

Seriously, though, nothing wrong with a genuine apology.

what the fuck.

MIL's are the devil. most of them, anyway. FUCK APOLOGIZING IF SHE WAS A DICK!!!! it will only lead to her expecting it and being more dickish down the line.

you said you were sorry for yelling...now let it drop. if you go over the top in your apologies, she will only press you. ack. ACK.

Don't worry, you still didn't fuck up as bad as that SG member who posted a picture of his wife (also an SG member) in a thread and encouraged people to go to her journal and post how hot she is.

Uh, what happened after this incident? confused

you can always get flowers delivered on holidays. I think FTD.com has some ridiculous bend-over-backwards-and-kiss-your-ass holiday delivery service.

Ha! Agreed...then pour out some ripple to your dead homies...they'd have killed her if they weren't already dead.

If you apologized and she accepted it, and your wife isnt upset, the whole issue should be dropped.

I have done this to my mother in law...type thing. Well never yelled at her in public, but have had words. apologies were made and accepted and the issue has long since been forgotten.

You really can't just say I yelled at my mother-in-Law. You really should explain the situation that brought you to the point of yelling. Maybe she deserved it. And if so it's her problem to realize she was in the wrong. wink
