The Helio Sequence are a dreamy Portland, Oregon based duo who have just put out their third album, Love and Distance. The album is their first Subpop release. It is on constant loop on my iPod and several of the tracks have made my favorite playlists, including, but not limited to, everything from my daydream playlist to my the shit playlist. The happy marriage of keyboards and guitar create their ethereal sound that is often just as rocking as it is amorphous. It is a truly great album...
