I had to go to the san francsico office and pay money out the ass to rush my passport a couple years ago to go to vancouver. my picture looks like shit.
and no, you don't need a passport to go to hawaii. it's been a state since 1959, for christsakes. unless you aren't from the US.

True, but some rules are the same for traveling to Hawaii as for travelling to other countries, such as the rules involving the carrying of fruit back and forth. Also, you need to fill out some of the same forms too. It may be our own state, but they are geographically separated from the rest of the country, so some things are different when travelling there. Thus, I can see why some might be confused.
