Has anyone chosen Wal-Mart? This thread was like asking us if we prefer to drink piss or lemonade!

When I started this thread i forgot to mention that my wife used to work at a Wal-Mart. She lasted six months. When she finally quit -- frail, broken, semi-coherent -- there was a look in her eyes that I've only seen before in the eyes of 'Nam vets. "The thousand-yard stare" I think they call it...

You are hilarious. biggrin

Meijers!!!

Meijer does not have an "s" in it, despite what most hillbillies in this state think.

Look at the sign next time you go.

Oh...forgot to mention (as if anyone cares), all through high school, I worked at T-9, the 9th Target store ever...opened in 1966. I had more fun at that job than any I've had since. I miss that employee discount.

omg i had NO idea target had been around so long O_o

i like target for everything they carry but
i like wal-mart for it's $17.89 40lbs of beneful dog food
and $2.89 5 lb bags of hamster mix
and $5.79 5 lb bag of kitten food

wal-mart is where i buy pet food in bulk lol , if target started carrying pet supplies like wal-mart i would shop there all the time.

The annoying 300-pound mothers in Tweety shirts and leggings who like to haul nine kids through the store like to go to Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart must die!
At least Target gives back to the community.
Wal-Mart sucks the life out of it.
