Are you a Target or a Wal-mart?

Try as one might, it is damn near impossible for an average joe like myself to avoid going to one or the other of these retail giants for mundane purchases. Here's what I've noticed....Most people prefer one over the other for no apparent reason. In general, it's pretty much the same stuff for the same price. Is it becuase some people are "red" people and some are "blue" people?

I am a KMart person that is where my hubby works. He is in loss prevention so you best not try to still no shit.

I LOVE Targee', but when I would get off work (after midnight) and it would be closed...so I had to go to Wal-mart.

i go to wal mart. it's closer. and cooler.

Target has way hipper stuff. Wal-mart has stuff that just LOOKS destined for a trailer park.

i'm not going to even go into their business practices, as this is not the CE boards...

Target... wallmart is fucking evil... i'd go to a Costco if there was one nearby. at least they treat their workers like human beings...

We took this at Super Wal Mart. As far as I can tell, the only thing Wal Mart is good for is as a place to wander around at 2am in the suburbs and take amusing pictures. Target all the way.

I hate them both. I only go to either when someone else is driving and they stop . I don't make mudane purchases. People do that for me. Often despite my annoyance.

Definately Target, they have way better stuff and maybe it's just my area but it's a lot nicer in Target than it is in Walmart. I do go to Walmart occasionally though because their stuff is so cheap.

i live right next door to a superkmart (last one left in texas) but it sucks so much. barely nothing there, not so cheap, i couldnt even get dishtowels so i gave up on them eventhough i rode on an airplane with a guy who happened to work for superkmart and he was nice so i feel bad for not liking the company.

target is just up the street but its not 'super' so no groceries. thus i drive all the way yonder to go to walmart for odds and ends but for serious groceries i go to United.

i hate walmart from the second i enter the parking lot and have to battle crazy highway-like oncoming traffic

target also supports the arts.
