hell yeah, it's pretty popular here - not huge, but got a good following. My flatmate, sorry roommate just got the DVD of the second series.

Bill Bailey - Manny, is a big name comedian here.

I've seen it, and yeah, I agree it is pretty funny. Don't think it is all that high profile over here tho

<--------knows what a flatmate is. i spent a month and a half in london and watch almost only BBC programming. it's kind of an obsession. has dylan moran done anything else? basically, i just wanted to see if i was in any danger of losing it. they used to show it here on comedy central at like three in the morning, but that lasted for only about a month. i guess US audiences just don't get it. i piss myself everytime i see it. it's into the third series over there now, isn't it?

I love it (the 3rd series just finished in the UK frown ) and you're not crazy, you just have excellent taste. Have you ever seen 'Spaced'? If not I think you'd like it too.

Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran are doing separate UK tours soon. I still have to find out if either of them are coming to Swansea...

hmmm, don't know what that was all about. i just wanted to see if it was in any danger of being cancelled. i saw some of the second series the other night and noticed that dawn tinsley from The Office played a part. surely it must have some clout?

It'll have a 4th series without a doubt. I'd stake my first born on it...

has dylan moran done anything else? i'd love to see some of bill's stand-up. or if moran does the bernard charcater in hit routine, that'd be hilarious.

somehow sadly, i really identify with bernard black. i too hate most people, stay drunk, and read more than is humanly neccesary. i don't do the black warddrobe thing anymore, though.

Skater/aspiring late 20-something male comic artist moves in with late 20-something alleged female writer as they need to be a 'professional couple' to get a London flat. They then have various amusing adventures...

Just get it, if you like Black Books you will like it, Bill Bailey is in it sometimes and Simon Pegg who plays one of the main characters is also in the 3rd seires of Black Books and has just written/stared in a romantic zombie movie called Shaun of the Dead with Dylan Moran and Lucy Davis who plays Dawn in the Office...

There's a nice BBC synopsis of Spaced here. If you like Black Books and you don't like this then I'd be stunned.

I have to agree, Spaced was the best comedy show on UK TV for years. Sheer brilliance.

Bernard: "I don't know. Some sort of delicious biscuit."
