So I was discussing this last night with a group of 8 friends and all of us British citizens counted between us no less than 23 different countries we could trace roots back to...from Denmark to India!
Personally I was disappointingly the least exotic with 75% Irish blood and the remaining 25% constituting British, Welsh and Cornish, a thoroughly modern Celt...
Irish blood
English heart
Cornish soul!

Maybe I am just really sad and need to get a life but I found it fascinating finding out my friends genetic structures

weird. i was just thinking about this today for no apparent reason.
i'm half portuguese, a fourth german, and the rest english and french...or so i've been told.
born and raised in CA though so i really don't have much of a clue about my cultural heritage.

I am mostly French and Scottish (and prrrrrroud of it) on my da's side. On my mom's I'm a German and English. I feel most closely connected to the Scottish side since I know I come from clan and all. I don't know much about the rest.
