I'd ask for the world's rarest truffle. Then while they were searching for it, I'd tunnel my way to freedom. Of course, then I'd miss eating the world's rarest truffle. Quite the quandary.

Some Amy's vegan burritos.
A big-ass bowl of potatoes, carrots, and squash all baked with oddles of garlic.
Cornbread.
Applejuice.
Assorted berries.
Sugar cookies.
And more dried mango strips that you can shake a stick at.

Yum!!

Bread and wine. I'd have all my dearest friends, and my one betrayer, sit on the same side of the table as me.

Mexican food, all the way. I'd eat so much of it I wouldn't care -how- I was being executed.

On a random depressing sidenote, when I was 18, we eventually had to put down our beloved dog, Shasta. She had cancer that had spread to most of her chest, and could barely walk. We didn't want to put her down, but it was really the best choice here.... anyways, right before the vet came over to our house, I went out to the garage, and found my mother, feeding Shasta girl scout cookies. Thin mints, straight out of the box. smile

My first reaction was to freak out a bit (dogs + chocolate = bad!), but then I realized it couldn't really do that much harm at this point.... and after all, it was a food she'd wanted to eat her entire life but could never had. She finally got to try them, though, and it was as good of a last supper as any I could think of.

A gigantic steak. A very bloody gigantic steak.
With a baked potatoe, and a lot of butter.
And a really big glass of water.

sure. why not? I think i'd rather be quietly contemplative, rather than in a rush to get more outta life in my final day or so. An apple would be just fine for me.

I at first misread this as "the worlds rarest turtle" and because that's not what you actually said, I think that would be my choice.
I guess I would have to go out eating something as immoral as the act that got me on death row in the first place.

Tofu and veggies (sweet potato, carrots, celery, red peppers) swimming in a spicy peanut butter sauce, served on cous-cous with a side of steamed green beans (yes, my last meal includes green beans) followed by a slice of hot, fresh, apple pie, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. And a cherry of course.

Oh, and lots of expensive champagne. I may as well do it up, y'know?
