According to Miramax, Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol 1 moved over 2 million DVDs and videos on its first day in stores. It would be interesting to see the video rental numbers for those who were looking to refresh their memories prior to the release of volume 2. Obviously, Miramax is expecting a great opening weekend for the follow up feature.

This is the first time I've waited for the complete box set super edition. Damn LOTR and their being of one year apart.

Chalk me up for one of those two million. I just wish that it had some better extras. They just want to sucker me into getting another copy

I'm waiting for the super-deluxe version of both films edited together.

I'm tired of buying a dvd and having a new version of the dvd with "better" extras come out soon after.

i just saw kill bill vol 2 tonight a a pre screening.. **benefits of running a cd store** it was absolutly as good if not better than the first, excellent story, excellent finish.. tarentino through and through

I plan to get Vol 1 and watch it RIGHT before leaving for the theater to see Vol 2.

i rented it...watched it twice. im gonna watch it a gain right before i see vol 2 fri afternoon, first showing oh yeah
but i am watiing for the box set that might be uncensored (no black and white) and the movies combined. kill bill vol 2 is supposedly 2 hours 17 min. clocking the movie just shy of four hours i believe. wonderful. so good

See I am just that kind of asshole that will sit back and wait forever for the director's uber-super-special-release cut and borrow the flick from the viddy store down the street, I had to stop buying DVD's twice or more i.e./e.g.(X-Men, X-Men 1.5) 'cause my wife needs shoes and my landlord needs rent. They were about to have an intervntion on my movie buying habit.

yup. great movie. Ill be there for vol.2 for sure.
