Hell yeah. If I remember correctly Nickelodeon plays reruns of Pete and Pete every summer. I recently saw Salute your Shorts (Camp Anawana we hold you in our hearts...) somewhere and I don't remember where frown

god i miss that show. Actually i miss all of the Nick shows from my childhood. If they put out a DVD box set of the complete runs of Pete & Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute Your Shorts, Fifteen, and Eerie, Indiana (technically it started on ABC but thats just splitting hairs) I would seriously pay $200+ for it. God I miss kids shows that werent all about selling toys or a video game. Back when they assumed kids had half a brain and could process things like plot, dialogue, and charachter development. Alas they learned thier lesson and kids wont be getting anything like that any more frown

He did make an appearance in one episode I saw playing some girls father. These kids went around destroying peoples pumpkins on Halloween. The kids got caught and were cleaning Iggy's porch. Iggy knelt down in front of one of them, said "You missed a spot...", spat on the porch and called the kid a "Stooge". biggrin biggrin biggrin

I loved Pete and Pete. Remember when little Pete traveled back in time during daylight savings time by eating riboflavin? Or something...I can't quite remember how that goes.

Best TV show ever. Oh, and yeah, Iggy Pop was in a few episodes. So was Steve Buscemi.

It had something to do with the drive in movies with old pete also I think.

iggy pop played nona's father, he was in a bunch including one where he sang this really cheesy song for nona at her school dance. steve buscemi played ellen's father.

i'm the biggest pete & pete geek. i seriously think that show was BRILLIANT. the one where ellen is the dot on the i in the marching band is a work of art that rivals the mona lisa.

nickelodeon used to be a really awesome channel, they dumbed it down so much. i turned it on the other day and it was a bunch of gyrating 12-year olds in some music video.

did anyone else get nick magazine when it first came out? that was the shit.

i got kicked out of a club in hollywood once because i saw donkey lips in vip and got entirely too excited. i was shouting "dude, you are fucking donkey lips, do you have any idea how fucking cool that is" (over the velvet ropes which i had no chance of crossing). well apparently he did in fact know that he was donkey lips because i was promptly asked to leave but i left while screaming "ZOLTAN" and attempting to recreate the Hal Sparks worshipping arm signal. perhaps this explains why the pick up line i hear most often is "so your friend is hot, hook me up"
