why or why not?

I wouldn't. mine was awesome, even though I was probably best described as a vagabon. but I wish i could relive it, best times of my life.

id never change anything about my past. if i hadnt been teased mercilessly until i was a senior in highschool, i dont think i would be nearly as passionate and understanding.

high school was fun, only in my senior year though, the first 3 years sucked being a loner from another state, hard to make friends in LA, but that all changed in my last year

Nope. There were some really rotten parts of my childhood, but they've shaped who I am.

I would go way back and super enhance my long-term memory skills since it's more than a little embarrassing/pathetic/strange for me to always wonder "Hhmm...sooo was I molested or not?"

On the other hand, I enjoyed the surreal abyss that was my childhood...

I had a wonderful childhood and wouldn't change a thing. Busia died too early, though. We all wished she'd been immortal. Still, being a kid during the eighties was fabulous. Being born in early 1977 meant I was old enough to remember and experience the eighties but had no memory of the seventies. biggrin

i think i was a bit of an ass as a kid, so I probably would like to have hidden that a bit better. and i probably should have tried a bit harder to study since I didn't really start to care bout school until college.

yah, and uhh, I would have spent more time listening to reggae.

I would have done a lot more ridiculous shit in high school, assuming that counts as childhood...

That is THE place to fuck with people's heads.

I completely agree about not changing because it made us who we are today. But to add to that; we know that we are alive now, but any change could have lead to any number of bad events including being dead.

I agree with Polly and Morgan, yet I also agree a little with SamSlade.

I had a lot of good and bad to my childhood, but it made me who I am. Regardless of anyone else's opinion, I'm happy with who I am today. Well, mostly anyway.

While I realize and appreciate that misery builds character, I think I'd be interested to try the whole thing over with a different set of parents.
