There was a fake one on the Internet a week ago or so, but this appears to be the real thing.

Looks pretty cool.

It would look cooler if it was in a different movie. Perhaps something featuring more men with mowhawks and mannequin parts strapped to their backs.

Reminds me of the batmobile from The Dark Night Returns comics. What is this Batman Begins? I shall have to go research...

Remember, this is the young Batman. He has to go through the stupid "Truck" phase wink

Honestly that is the most realistic Batmobile I've ever seen. It stresses function over form, and looks like one person and not a team of flashy car designers built it.

You think? It looks like it goes about 6 mph without the assistance of the jet engine and a strong tailwind. No ground clearance. Doesn't look like it will corner well, either.

I doubt it could go fast enough to need those spoilers on the back.

Batman spends most of his time in the city so reaching top speed wouldn't be much of issue. Besides, I've seen some of those evil hummers in action and they accelerate so fast that it defies logic.

Cornering? We are looking at the same car right? That thing spells traction and looks incapable of tipping over during one of this "high speed" chases.

Ah, good point.

Edit: ok, how about the jet exhaust a foot away from the tires? Oh, not to mention those huge exposed tires are a serious liability.

I think that thing looks like utter crap. Every Batmobile has been sleek, "swoopy," and fast looking. This thing looks like a fucking tank.

Has Batman gone commando? (I'm sure he has underwear, you know what I mean.)

I hope that's some sort of off-road Batcruiser.

Blech.

He uses a special low temp type of fuel, and heat resistant tires available only to the richest and sexiest people on the planet.

Dude, tires made out of the skins of freshly-killed hobo aren't exactly "heat resistant". I mean, they're cold all the time!
