Hey Ladies, I make chainmaille as a hobby, II wanted to get into making bikinis and such for women Curious how many of you like this stuff... ive made a bikini top for my ex girlfriend a couple years back, but havent done much since. let me know what you think!
this is just a random piece.
this one is my exes.. doesnt fit right cuz she didnt give me the time to custom fit.
You might have more luck in the groups. I know there's a crafting group, maybe there's a chainmaille or metal arts group? Also you could check out Swap Meet if you want to alert people on SG to the stuff you're selling.
Is there a secret to wearing chainmaille that won't pull all my hair out? I mean, wearing certain items things over clothing isn't attractive. Every time I've worn the stuff it's been painful because I have lots of arm hair.

Chain mail is traditionally worn over another armor item made our of cloth called a gambeson.
I would suggest getting a pair of small spandex or hosery and cutting them to fit your arms, that's what people I knew did when they didn't want to wear anything heavy underneath their chain mail.

Im sure different weaves wont pull as much. Also could be the quality of the rings that's giving you the problem... Personally i dont have a problem with that.

I've worn long-sleeved chainmail shirts with little underneath and not had hair pulled (had to keep head hair out of the way, but that's different) - but then it was mail I'd made myself. Admittedly I then took the stuff off and put a proper base layer on..but that was because I was about to be hit with swords and the like lol
Chainmail made well and with the right sort of rings (there are more variations than you might think) won't pull much.
Oh and Chweezzy, you'd get far more of a response in one of the groups, especially if you asked about (fashion) chainmail to order in general, not just aiming at boobie-covers for the ladies :-)
