Lacuna Coil have spent the last year touring with their 4th album, Comalies. Over six months of that was spent in the USA, promoting the bands unique style of music. I was lucky enough to interview their guitarist Cristiano Mozzati at the bands one off gig in London, UK during their Christmas tour with label mates Moonspell, Passenger and Poisonblack.

To set the scene:
Its the 27th December 2003 and were sitting in a rather skeggy dressing room at the London Astoria. Beside me is Lacuna...

I saw them with Type O Negative in Atlanta a few months ago. They did a really great job with the crowd, and Christina is even more beautiful in real life.

Lacuna Coil are such an amazing band. I was dragged out to a POD concert and ended up being pleasantly surprised by the hottest lead singer of all time (Cristina Scabbia), and that even more so, they were playing kick-ass music

.... One thing about the article that bothers me... I have a drum stick on my wall that was thrown out into the crowd by Cristiano Mozzati... That would make him the drummer, and leave Cristiano Migliore and Marco Biazzi as one of the guitarists that were actually interviewed in this article. (One only needs to consult the album liner notes for Unleashed Memories... or even Wikipedia for that matter to confirm this...) - Great interview though.
