I'm naturally a mousy dirty blonde. That's why I've been dying my hair red for 13 years. That and a childhood obsession with Molly Ringwald.

I was really light blond as a child, and then I dyed my hair black.

I'm pretty hot as both.

The only reason I tried coloring mine red one time as well. They had to pry Breakfast Club out of my clutching hands to keep from watching it nightly in my teens.

I've done it all, but have always returned to the very dark brown I was born with.
Sometimes mothernature knows best, even though she's not a very creative hair colorist. biggrin

Seeing as I have this natural tan thing going on, I'd look retahded with anything but dark hair.

Brunettes, always.
There's an indescriable quality about chocolate brown hair that I find attractive over peroxide.

I'm also bias because I could never be a blond without being gaudy.

How funny, I started dying my hair red in junior high school in the eighties, and used to get so ticked off at being referred to as 'Molly'. (not because I didn't like her, but because red hair was all we had in common, and mine is bone straight) I got thrown out of gym class once for refusing to answer when the teacher kept calling me Molly. (though it was fun explaining to the principal that she knew my real name, she was just referring to me by a movie actress' name because 'all the kids did it')

I am a brunette, but I have dyed blonde. And red. And black. And a weird color or hunting-season orange. And blue. And green.

I am dropping my compulsive hairdye habit for a while...
