...for not having one damn scratch on her ass. She fell off a friggin horse. Granted, getting thrown off a horse can be a serious thing - esp. if your running it at high speeds - but apparently just fell off of it while it was walking. Great use of the medievac chopper, people.

I think she should have had to adhear to the rules of the "Simple Life" sequal she was filiming at the time. That is, no money. Let her ass get a ride to a hospital in the back of a car or -maybe- call a bad ambulence, wait in line for two hours because she has nothing wrong, and get a 30 second glance at from a doctor instead of admitance. If she sees a doctor at all - no money, no insurance = no service, thesedays.

You want to know why I don't liker her? There's been some debates, and I can tell you it has nothing to do with anything suggested. It's not because she's female. It's not because anyone think she's a "slut." It's because of stuff like this - and it goes for every single rich elitist snob that uses important meidcal resources and blows tons of money because they fell on their ass.

She just fell off of it and was fine? No dizziness, twisted ankle or wrist, sore back... nothing like that, and they Medivaced her? A six foot fall doesn't normally result in internal bleeding... just bruises and embarrassment.

Weird. surreal

already said my piece here ---falling off of a horse can be very dangerous, and should have nothing to do with reality television

Okay. The article said she was riding the horse. That's much different than falling off a standing horse. I'd probably get myself checked out too, even if I didn't have any broken bones.

i agree, but i think his point was the fact that she was flown into the hospital by a helicopter, which is usually reserved for life-threatening trauma.

Oh. I agree with that. The helicopter should have been saved for a real emergency, if it was a hospital helicopter.

If it was a private helicopter, though, then who cares? tongue

she got kicked in the stomach by the horse as well. even though she was walking around afterwards, she could have had internal injuries. if i had the money for a medivac, and the hospital had the resources to employ it to me, i'd get my ass airlifted to the hospital if i got kicked in the gut by a horse. my 2c.
