some nights ill be tired and the latest ill go to bed is like 2 am. sometimes before then. and then some nights, for unexplainable reasons, i have tons of energy and am all thinky and crap and ill be online, look at the clock and discover that its now 6 am. and this is usually on nights where i should be getting up early. laame.
you know what i do when i cant sleep from thinking too much?
i relax my whole body, close my eyes.
i visualize a television in the middle of this black room. on the television i see snow, bright color.. just basic chaos. this represents all your thoughts.
i concentrate on the television buzzing and rolling and making horrible sounds and pictures for a few minutes, and then i turn it off. [ the more time you focus on the annpying images, the easier it will be to let go of your thoughts once you turn them off. ]
just goes black. that was me turning off all my thoughts for the night.
this has worked with me three or four times. i reccommend it to anyone who has trouble falling asleep due to overactive thinking etc.
i have the worst sleeping habits, i must, i mean MUST, listen to music on my headphones for at least an hour in bed before i fall asleep. obviously, this hasnt gone over to well with the ladies
