One of my best and oldest friends goes by "Turd" He's of Russian descent and his given name is Tradpatiol. Turd was always easier to say

I have lots of nicknames, mainly because I like to make up words, but some of them have stuck over the years. A few of my faves: Rocksteady, cockknocker, fuckbutter, ballbreath. Typically I'll call my friends anything insulting besides their actual names. Maybe that's why I don't have very many friends.
My nickname is Flips, Pip, or Flipper, because they all kinda rhyme with my last name.

Some of my friends and I are retarded enough to consistently call each other nicknames that are from tv shows or movies. For a while we called each other "Top Gun" names (I was Iceman!) and have gone everywhere from "Sex & the City"(Miranda) to Golden Girls(Ma).
