Ok I started this nonsence to get it out of my system. This was good. On other boards I really don't like to argue with other members when they respond to one of my posts.I'm really not into these boards that much anyway.People post some stupid shit but, every one here for the most part was very clever and had intelligent comments to make.I don't agree with half ya all but, hey how boring would life be if everyone agreed with each other all of the time.

I am glad to know that there are indeed some other members here who feel as strongly as I about correct grammar and proper spelling. With that said, I should also mention that we all make errors from time to time due to typing quickly and/or lack of sleep. I generally don't comment on others' errors, since I am aware that I sometimes slip up too. If the errors are excessive though, I do wonder if the writer's thinking is equally sloppy. I tend to think that it would be. But, an occasional extra or transposed letter or a missed punctuation mark is more easily overlooked.

Yeah, I love that. However, notice that the words, garbled as they may be, still contain only the correct letters. The claim is that you can decipher the message based on the context and the first and last letters of each word, but I would argue that, in fact, it also requires the presence of the correct letters (and the correct number of letters).

I wasn't trying to make a statement about whether or not people should learn to type and use proper grammar. I just wanted to post that. Ergo, no argument from me.
