ok i just got finished watching the texas chainsaw massacre.......
and last week dawn of the dead

and i have come to the conclusion that with new technology comes better ways to watch us all as humans die in new digital horrific ways

well it just seemed as if it was a bit more scarry and thought provoking when it was done before we needed a digital shot blast to the head
or showing us what mr leatherface looked under the mask
i didnt want to know nor did i care to know what his ugly grim had to show

now why cant they remake a bad movie and say make it better
i mean i have seen so many "good" movies turned bad

why not make lets say " MANOS" the hands of fate in to a good movie
or hobgoblins the list goes on and on

my gripe is for the directors and the studio heads

leave the good stuff alone

and go to the garbage dump of hollywood and remake something from there

I really don't think we'd be able to capture the magic that was Manos. the cast and direction is the stuff of legends. Lightening in a Bottle, my friend. That's what Manos was.

Hobgoblins could end up being an interesting project though. Vin Diesel could play the mindless, horney soldier guy. *shudder*

Fine then, let us take a cue from MST3K. We will make the sequel to Manos: The Hands of Fate and introduce Torgo the White.

Then, we will remake the first three installments of the Star Wars movies, only we will un-suckify them.

After that...I vote Plan 9... and Night of the Lepus.

How about Saturn 3 for a bad movie that could be good.
But I love to see a darker remake of Chitti Chitti Bang Bang!!
I think Trent Reznor would do a great job on Truely Scrumptius (sp?)

I'd be happy if they'd just come up with something original and not have to remake anything...

Who cares, girls are icky.

Naw, second thought...she finds out what MJ is really up to and decides to take revenge on him. That's where the Jason X remake comes into play...

(Michael Jackson vs Jason? Two guys wearing plastic masks square off...)

Indeed

In any case I've decided that Killer Tongue is a much better choice for all sorts of reasons, which are No Kids and Giant Tongue Sex.

I consider it to be a classic in it's original version, but i'd like to see Last House On The Left remade with eli roth writing and directing.

I also think Motel Hell should be redone.

I thought we were supposed to remake bad movies?

My personal vote is to follow a current Hollywood trend and make a movie based on a cartoon, like say Hagar the Horrible. Then I would wait 5 years for the sequel and remake the sequel in another 4 years.

Guaranteed blockbuster.

i'd remake George Romero's Martin, or possibly Season of the Witch. They are great on their own, however would just like to update the stories for the times....would be interesting.

however that said, remakes fucking blow.
