This is what i remember from being little. Being frustrated and not in control.
Out house was bilingual so i thought all the kids spoke German too. My mom used to dress me up in this little red suit coat. I guess its what kids wear to school in bavaria. That red coat got me so much shit

Ahhh that's sad. I'm not German, my family was in the military so I lived there for 6 years of my elementary & middle school years. I learned German, but didn't speak it very well. When I came back...I felt I was in a total different world. If you haven't spent that much time away from the states...you can't imagine how it feels. Especially when Internet didn't exsist. When your a lil' kid clothes, friends, and coolness mean everything. I was none of those. I think in a way that's why alot of us are the same people here. We all felt the same akwardness, shyness, or outkastnes (is that a word..lol) Anyways, I'm rambling. It just brings up all those emotions.

I actually miss the first home in Detroit that I lived in. I miss that time. Granted, the schools I went to sucked. But that was made up for. I used to live a duplex, I believe it was. On the second level. The balcony was right outside my bedroom window, and I used to climb out late at night, when my mom was asleep, and hop balconies to my best friends room. She lived next door, in the upper half of her duplex. My mom never knew that I kept a wooden board hidden under my bed. I'd use that board to cross that bit of space between balconies. Heh heh, I was such a sneak.

I miss believing in the notion that at some point I'd actually feel like a grown up and then everything would make sense from that point on.

I miss being a kid and not having to pay bills all the time. Being an adult sucks in that sense. I have so much responsibility now. Ugh.
