Insert photoshopped image of an SG with a beard.

I currently have one, but it's not from intention so much as laziness. I'll shave sooner or later.

I went in for the beard about 8 years ago, But to my horror it mostly came out ginger. There's nowt wrong with ginger, but my hair is very dark brown and it just looked weird. I have started growing my sidies a bit, but I think it may be something genetically linked to losing my hair. When I go completely bald I'll have a beard and look like my head is on upsidedown. surreal

i grew my first beard last fall/early winter. it was a "tribute beard" to a pal that worked with me and then moved on to greener pastures. i loved it until it started to get dandruffed up and i had to shave it. the girls i know were like "thank GOD it's gone!" but i left the soul patch and that's working out quite nicely

where is the bearded smiley emoticon?

I tried to grow one last semester. It was red and weird looking. I miss it.

I'm a mutant. I have facial hair on the left side, but hardly any on the right. I wish I could grow a beard, but god hates me.

But I can grow a mean mustache, if only I wanted to.

Yes, sometimes it can get messy. Washing it is the key.

my girl friends where really disturbed when they first saw me with that "huge" beard smile (all of my friend circle lives far from each others now... frown )

Except for one of my girl friend...... she seemed very into it for some reason. wink

I've been wearing one since December.

I don't really remember what I look like without it.

Yep I'm fuzzy. It's going on 2 months so it's fairly new, but I'm liking it so far. Helps cover up the ugly. biggrin

I work with two Israelis and a mostly Israeli/Jewish client base, yet as far as I know I'm the only one with a beard.

I only grow it cause I'm too lazy to shave, but it turns out I spend a lot more time trimming it than just shaving it off. Girls that have seen me with and without it seem to uniformly admit I look better with it on, not so 12 year oldish.

i've said it before: the beard is/was the new trucker hat. if ya don't believe me, take a look around your favorite hipster hangout on a friday night and count 'em.

i always want to grow one out, but i hang out with a guy who's beard is massive, so either i can't hang out with him, or do hang out with him and look like i'm trying too hard to be like him.

i usually only grow out my beard when i go on road trips, or spend 2 weeks camping or something like that. being half asian, i grow a pretty sparse beard, making me look like a derelict from the hidden fortress or an extra from three amigos. after a good week or two though, it fills in nicely. the crappy part is that when it comes in for 4-5 days it looks like a goatee (i detest goatees and all they have become) because that's the part of my facial hair that grows the fastest.

one week, i ran out of razor blades and couldn't be bothered to go to the store and get more, so i grew it out... i got really sick of people asking me if i was growing a goatee. i also got sick of them laughing at my "eighth grade mustache."

i wish i could grow a competant beard... i'm jealous of you people with good genes that can pull off the jim morrison.

I've had them, but I never have the patience to keep them more than a month. It usually ends with me getting out of bed in the middle of the night, shaving and going back to bed.

I always think of Mr. Mom. In the movie he was fat, depressed, and bearded. All of a sudden he shaves, burns his shirt and becomes like super Mr. Mom. When I shave, I fantasize that I, too, am Super Mr. Mom (without the kids).

Had a beard and let it grow for about six months before I realized that I looked like a vagrant...so I now have a goatee, which looks far better (in my own humble opinion wink )
The funny thing is that I after I grew mine, my dad started to grow one, and his looks much better than mine. Not fair!

That's the kind of thing you want to see on other people, never yourself.

Also, yesterday, I was at the movies and I saw this old woman with a full on beard. It was scary!

I used to sport a goatee, but I have moved on to trying to keep a full "Al" from Home Improvement going on - full beard, but groomed and trimmed.

I've only been totally beardless once since I was 17 or so, and I was universally encouraged never to do that again - growing it back was the longest 3 days of my life. But for a brief moment as I was shaving and had left myself only a mustache, I was magically transformed into a cop.
