Vincent D’Onofrio has been a memorable character actor for 25 years. The first role most people remember was Pvt. Pyle, the marine cadet driven insane by a drill instructor inFull Metal Jacket. From other dark roles like a serial killer inThe Cell and a meth dealer inThe Salton Sea to high comedy as a farmer possessed by an alien inMen in Black, D’Onofrio may be unrecognizable between roles, but always distinct.

D’Onofrio moves behind the scenes as director with the horror musicalDon’t...

I liked it a lot too. I saw it almost by accident but it's a really fun, original movie. Definitely recommended.

And I wanna get that soundtrack!

Very good interview! I recently met Mr. D'Onofrio at the wrap party for Chained/The Human Puzzle - the production was originally called Rabbit and filmed in my city. My wife was a stunt performer on this film, portraying one of his victims. Vincent really had to rough her up, and her performance entailed being thrown around a room by her hair (She's 5' 100lbs so I don't imagine Vincent had to use much of his muscle) and dragged down some stairs in a body bag. He was very concerned with her safety, and was extremely gracious during our brief conversation. He is a huge, intimidating man but his personality was the polar opposite. I can't wait to watch him kill my little wife. smile
