My niece just had a" duh!!" should I tell her?

My neice is chatting up with a guy via email. My niece is all cute and spunky and so full of life she is amazing. But somethimes I wonder. She sent him a pic of "her". She said she found it on a disc I had but she doesn't remember having taken the picture. It is a really close up of her face. Umm..theres only one problem. It aint her. It's Erin from SG. Yes. the pic is a spitting image of my niece. I will give her that, and I think that's why I saved it, to show it to her. But do you think you could tell the difference between you and someone else, even if you looked exactly alike in that pic?( you can hardly see any BG, so that would not offer a clue. Should I tell my niece she screwed up or just leave it alone? If the guy ever meets my niece, he will not know it wasn't her, but if he stumbles on to SG and sees it and thinks my niece is a liar... O fuck it, I aint getting involved. It's pretty funny really.Weird but funny.
And o yea, just cause Erin is on my fave list I do not have a niece fantasy.LOL. so lets get that out of the way.

In that particular picture it looks exactly like her. Yes, she really thinks it was her. heh, that's whats so funny. She's not trying to be deceptive.
Oh, she is very happy being her, that's why I love her to death. she is absalutely one of the most honest and straightforward individuals I know.
I just find the situation amusing because she would frigging die if she knew.

option #3- what if he comes across SG and thinks Erin IS you niece, some people are pretty dumb (meaning the guy), and who knows what he'll think... or assume she is about if he thinks that she is on a "porn" site. i dont mean to be (or make you) paranoid, but there are people who have no clue what SG is about. you dont want him assuming any dumb ass things based on thinking she is on here. are you getting what i am saying?

I know exactly what you're saying and I agree. Some people are just dumb-ass's that way.They live across the country so I doubt there will ever be a meeting, but who knows. I just thought it was a funny situation simply because I did not think it was possible to mistake someone else for yourself. It was really hard to keep a straight face when she showed it o me.
But as you can see, some people( Not you) are already taking THIS thread too seriously, Like Im on a porn site and they are not. LOL.

Yes, you should tell her.
You don't necessarily need to tell her where the picture came from, but you should definitely tell her that it's someone else that she resembles. It's only right.

You should print and insert the picture and a note into a cantalope, and put a stick of butter in there too. And then attach it to a rope that you hang from a pully outside of her window. At night you should drop bread crumbs on the floor and make strange noises and float the cantalope outside of her window. Night after night as she is hanuted by the cantalope and mysterious appearance of bread crumbs, you can then wait for the appropriate moment during daytime to make a path of breadcrumbs outside of her school playground that lead off into a corner of the playeground. Where you will leave the cantalope. Upon seeing the cantalope, she will face her fear and smash it apart, thus revealing the picture and note. She will pick them up curiously and read the note, upon which will be written the words 'This picture is of some girl that looks like you, but isnt you. I had in on my computer to show to you, because of its similarities, and you mistook it as yourself. You should try sending a real picture to your friends online.' She will be so proud of herself for smahing the object of her fears, that the mistake will be taken in stride. And then, after some practice, manage to conjur up any being that you can to posses the butter and chase her. Make sure the butter chases her to the backdoor of a nearby italian restaurant where you have a whole other surprise waiting for her...

Or you could just tell her.
