Oh, I get it: GrumpyDog doesn't understand OWS. SG didn't collapse the economy through dubious, dangerous banking manouvers. Neither did Apple. SG didn't take in record profits without paying income tax. SG hasn't gotten bailouts or taxpayer subsidies.
Nor is OWS "against" the 1%, nor "against" everyone making over $250K (which isn't very close to the top 1% cut-off, but whatever), nor are they even using the whole "99%" thing as a hard and fast dividing line (it's a metaphor, dude).
I mean, the whole argument is a giant straw man, but when that's all you've got that's all you've got.
Pretty sure this site is owned by persons of that income level...why not boycott this site as well?
Or is this site above that because of who owns it, kinda like Apple can do no wrong... they are worth billions, as the protestors are seen using their iPhones during the demonstrations. I am typing this on a MacBook Air BTW...I have no problem supporting the 1%.
Nothing wrong with making money or a lot of it but when a group of people form a corp. then fraudulently loan money, lose money on the money they loaned, then get a bailout from the very people who they loaned money to THEN layoff people to remain wealthy.
A few years later do it all again.
If I could do that much fucking as well as getting my cock sucked I'd be a happy, arrogant asshole too.
Point is, there is a bit of hypocrisy, why is that? Why are some corporations deemed evil and others are not?
I don't understand. Why is the definition of hypocrisy "to deem some corporations evil and others not"? Is it also hypocrisy if we deem this guy "not evil"?

I don't understand this weird assertion.
That's because it's made completely and utterly from bovine excrement.

Occupy Wall Street is not anti-corporate in some general sense. OWS is against corporations stacking the deck in their own favor by buying politicians.

I know how it works, kinda. It's a long drawn out corrupt system.
My local story is like many, the banks loan to people who can't afford or understand what they have (mortgage) they default on it the banks now owns the house, pretty soon they own the block, the 'hood the city.
District Rep., Alderman, Senator lobbies for some type of "help" such as tearing down foreclosed homes the bank foots the bill, then finances the rebuild then sells the new house to a "qualified" applicant most likely in a higher income bracket tax revenue goes up, gentrification, displacement... It's a win/win for govt. and big business.
Now I'm off to figure out to make $250 into $500 so I don't get evicted.
