I'm trying to download a bit torrent file from suprnova and I was wondering two things.
1. Why does it start out really strong and then slow down completely.
2. Is there any way to speed it up? It's at 78 percent finished already and it's a pretty big file, but it's driving me crazy.

probably becuase there is no one with the "seed" or complete file hanging around, just lots of people sharing 78% of it, and the people with the rest of it werent nice enough to keep the torrent open after they had finished donwloading it.

Just leave it open and be patient. Nine times out of ten it will pick up again in a few hours.
You might also try upping your number of permitted uploads. Some trackers cap your downloads based on your share ratio. This can help.
