Viagra, the drug that has launched a thousand...well you know, has been proven ineffective in the treatment of sexual disorders in women. Figures.

One of the topics I first posted a Thread about on SG was Avlimil. I was wondering if anyone, anyone at all, had any experiences with it, comments, opinions... that Thread died a quick death.

As far as I can tell, nobody wants to talk about female sexual dysfunction, here or anywhere in society. Dunno why.

Hey, I'd like to hear from women if they've ever tried Viagra and what its effects were for them. Since the product is advertised for men, I know it sounds weird, huh? But I've read a few articles -- now these weren't peer-reviewed journals, mind you -- that have said ancedotally that it's enhanced sex and orgasm for some women. But that doesn't necessarily mean, as the BBC reported, that a woman who, for instance, is unable to climax would be able to after taking Viagra.

I've heard the same thing from friends of mine who have taken it with their girlfriends/wives. Gives the man a raging 16 year old's boner and the woman just massive orgasms.

I read an article once about a woman who was having trouble conceiving because the walls of her uterus were too thin.

They gave her Viagra for a while, and it thickened up her uterus enough so that she could be impregnated. eeek

Really? That is crazy...I never heard that it could help with pregnancy...

I think it was mainly for women who can't have orgasms...but they found out what they already knew...it is more of a mental thing than a physical one...
