IMDB So many people know him as Columbo, or from his work with John Cassavetes, but I'll always know him as the former angel from {i]Wings of Desire. And part of me wants to believe that he just wants us to think he's dead, and he'll sit up and say "Just one more thing..."
Heh I can imagine that, for sure. This is one of the stars I am going to miss the most. Never saw him do anything I didn't enjoy. And I think, when I'm not remembering him as Columbo, it would have to be the grandfather from The Princess Bride.
