So I'm talking with a friend today, and he starts talking about the Chinese zodiac. He's a Dragon, which to him seems really cool.

But it doesn't matter what system of astrology I use. My signs suck.

I'm a Cancer. Yeah, I'm either a crab or a wasting illness. Take your pick.

Or, in the Chinese zodiac, I'm a Rat. I'm a vector for disease and a scavenger.

So my friend tries to tell me about how the rat stands for wisdom or some crap like that. I don't care. Dragons are cooler than rats. If you had a choice between being a dragon or a rat, every single one of you would choose a dragon.

Supposedly the Chinese set up the Rat to be the coolest one as far as 'powers' and such, knowing it seemed like the lamest animal. Don't know for sure, though... just what someone told me (who wasn't a Rat if that makes a difference.)
