[Fellow Hello Kitty aficionado Dave Navarro, who won a Golden God for his tireless work upholding the rock & roll tradition of Bootie Calls.]

While SuicideGirls is vehemently anti-red carpet, it’s 100% legitimate for us to cover the Golden Gods' black one. The third installment of Revolver Magazine’s annual celebration of all things hard 'n' heavy took place last night at the Nokia Theater in DTLA. We were there with our camera at the ready…

[Alice Cooper, who performed a live 4-song set, his first in LA for 40-years, which included the classic “Schools Out” for which Rob Zombie joined his band on stage.]

[Our congratulations go out to newly appointed Zombie Research Society lifetime member Scott Ian (Anthrax and The Damned Things), who recently tied the knot with long time GF Pearl. The couple are expecting their first child in July.]

[Life of Agony’s Alan Robert, who stopped by the SG Radio studios earlier in the afternoon to talk about the film he’s producing based on his graphic novel Wire Hangers, and his new IDW comic series, Crawl To Me.]

[Original G’N’R drummer and Celebrity Rehab alum Steven Adler, whose rather excellent book My Appetite for Destruction comes out in paperback May 17.]

[Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil, who won our award for best dressed rocker of the night (though Navarro deserves a honorable mention for his perfectly groomed and studiously understated look).]

[Nikki Sixx with his other band Sixx: A.M., who have a new album coming out as a companion to the Crüe bassist’s pretty damn awesome new book of words and images, This Is Gonna Hurt.]

[Gilby Clarke, who should win an award for putting up with Axl Rose’s shit for three years.]

[OG Star Trekker William Shatner, who has a new album of covers called Searching For Major Tom coming out later in the year. The track listing, which was released last week will include Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” Pink Floyd’s “Learning To Fly,” and Deep Purple’s “Space Trucking.” ]

Major winners of the night included Black Veil Brides (who received a nod for Best New Band), Alice Cooper (who got the Golden God award), Mötley Crüe (who received a Lifetime Achievement award), and William Shatner (who was honored as a “Honorary Headbanger”). Rock on!

[David Coverdale of Deep Purple and Whitesnake. 100% bona fide legend. 'Nuff said.]

Visit our gallery for a crap load more images from the night.

Special thanks to the boys from InXile Entertainment, who sponsored the Alice Cooper's Golden God Award to promote their new game Hunted: The Demon's Forge - and more importantly kept us supplied with key resources (drinks and tacos) so we had the energy to bring you this coverage. If the game is half as cool as the people that made it, it should be awesome. Check it out now!

Wow. Coverdale looks like an old woman who's spent too much time tanning.

I think that might be a self-aware jest. Or not.
