location scouting for indie film-HELP! please?

Hello boys and girls, and welcome to another installment of "Gee, isn't this internetted thing so cool?".

Here's the jist of it:I'm hoping to start production on this badboy of a script I'm working on by the end of the year....however, I'm going to need a PERFECT location to fit THE most pivotal scene.

No, I'm not going to give away the scene, it's still in the works.

I need a bridge, over water, in a city (or part of a town that LOOKS like it could be a city).....it needs to look like a mostly residential area, not the middle of a business district.

I've been looking at New Orleans, but I'm sure that filming there would cost WAY too much. Since most of the scenes are interiors, though, the bridge/exteriors can be anywhere.....so throw me some ideas and pictures, please!

Naturally if interest in this picks up, I'll keep the community on top of what's happening. Heh! Maybe I can tap a Suicide Girl to play lead. Script should be done by summer, I hope, so I can let you all in on the details then.I don't suppose we have any writers looking for work........?
