Good interview. Billy Duffy is one of the best guitarists I've seen play live too.

Awesome guitarist. Really understated, but rocking nonetheless.

I remember when I was a kid, having a poster of Duffy and Astbury on my wall. Those fuckers were so cool.

Fascinating to see how Duffy and Johnny Marr are friends, and how he hung out with the rest of the guys from The Smiths. Nice to see two different sides of the musical coin represented in that friendship/community.

rereading this, i always loved that Gretsch semi hollow body. great guitar.

i thought they were a better band before the Rick Rubin job they got. made them popular with sorority gals, i guess. but less interesting.

weird psychedelia to AC/DC cover band.
