I am currently living in a basement converted into an apartment, which works fine in many respects and is cheap, but does have the disadvantage of not having a proper full service kitchen. At the moment I am relying on various countertop gadgets like a hot plate, microwave oven, and slow cooker to produce food. I would like to add baking to my repertoire without moving to somewhere with an actual oven (just yet). It looks like I might be able to do this with a countertop convection oven, but I'm having trouble getting a good handle on what my options are, what I'd be buying for a given price, and what I might be able to cook in a given model. Ideally, I'd like to come as close to the functionality of a regular oven as I can in a countertop model. I see most models seem to have roughly enough internal space to cook a 12" pizza or bake a casserole in a similarly sized dish. I'll settle for a model recommendation in that range if I must, but I'm hoping for something a little larger, perhaps able to cook a 14" pizza - but I've seen nothing in this size locally and Amazon's product descriptions aren't much help.
