Plain and simple: no

I'm fairly certain people will throw a million drugs and natural suppliments at you. I've tried most of them. They don't work. You just have to find tricks to deal with it, like getting enough sleep and carrying a pen and paper with you, like I do.

If you actually have some disorder, then lets talk drugs and treatment.

i can remember certain things, maybe cause i am almost obsessive with being organized, but anything that happened in the past is pretty much lost, until someone jogs the memory, and sometimes that doesnt even help. is there a way to test how good your memory is?

If you really want to remember something a minor self-multilation is all it takes.

Yea. It's a game called Memory, oddly enough.

I have a mild form of autism called Asperger's syndrome - which means that my memory is pretty good.

In fact, when I was a teenager, my memory was freakishly amazing (we're talking Rainman stuff here, folks). But as I proactively went about overcoming my Aspergers, unfortunately the amazing memory skills went also. frown

But I'm probably still better than average.

My memory works in an odd fashion. The smaller, more trivial facts seem to stay with me a long time, but larger, more important facts get lost in the shuffle. If I read it, I'll forget it. If I write it, I'll remember it forever.

I had a teacher in school who gave me advice on a regular basis. While I can pretty much remember every conversation we had, I can't for the life of me remember his name, or even what class he taught.

Taking mass notes in history class in high school literally saved my ass.
