I was at a literature based board the other day and the Illuminatus trilogy came up, one of my three favourite trilogies, anyone not familiar should probably check it out, it's full of conspiracy theories, drugs, sex, anarchism, astrology and even a yellow submarine and a talking dolphin (hey it was written before dolphins where uncool). It was by two ex playboy editors no less. Anyway do you kow the British band KLF are named after the Kalista Liberation Front in the book and that explains the Justified ancients of Mu Mu song (with tammy winnet?). The KLF where into/are into occultist surrealist anarchist stunts and even burnt a million pounds to try to win an arts prize of about 50 grand. They also presented a large Sonic the Hedgehog doll to newly discovered tribesmen in Africa !!!!!!!
Wow this anicdote stuff reads pretty geeky dosn't it ,anyway, anyone know if the Historical Illuminatus was ever completed. I have two but they say trilogy. Any more illimanati or Robert Anton Wilson stories out there

Yep, the Historical Illuminatus trilogy was finished, and I think it's his best writing.

He is one of my favorite authors of all time.

Jesus, I was just looking uo all that stuff last night.

Get it? God's funny little joke. I mean hell, read my journal.

No. Really.

It's all about the fucking p2 man.

The p2 sees all.

Maybe grandad will spill it about the freemasons and the p2 someday.

I went to a meeting once, but it was just like church, and i was in my anti-establishment phase, so I don't really remember it at all, I bet I was high or something.

If you are into conspiracy theory check out David Icke. I think it is call ..and the truth will set you free. It has all of the usual suspects: Masons, Rosecruscians, Illuminati, Knights of Templar, etc. all intertwined in history, and here is the interesting part: all controlled by aliens from the fourth dimension!

Good to konw the Historical Illuminatus was finished but i failed to find a copy of the third one on bookfinder. What is it they don't want me to read I wonder.

Historical Illuminatus: The second one ("Nature's God") was the best, although the first one was right up there. The third one was pretty disappointing.

i just finished reading illuminatus last week. i'm actually glad i waited so long to read it, because the times we're living in now are similar enough to the book, even though it was written 30 years ago.
